The time it takes to find a nanny depends on many factors including where you live, the hours required and whether the position is live-in or live out. We generally recommend that you allow 4-6 weeks to find a nanny in order to allow for training time i.e. have the nanny spend some time with you and the children before the required date. This will give you time to set expectations and build a strong relationship.

However, we work with many nanny candidates and can often find a nanny more quickly if needed. A live-in nanny takes a little longer. Ideally, you should allow 4-8 weeks to find the right person.
