What is event childcare?

Event childcare is a service provided by
a team of experienced childcare professionals at a function such as a wedding, conference or family gathering.
Normally an extra room is allocated specifically for the children of parents attending the event and the childcare providers
look after the children while their parents are free to attend the function. A win-win solution for everyone - hosts,
guest and their children.
Hosts do not have to agonize over the decision of whether
to the children should be invited, guest can enjoy the event without worrying about their children who are normally located
in a nearby room and the children have a lot of fun with children their own age in a safe and fun environment.
Event Nannies
At the Williamsburg Nanny Agency our childcare providers are called 'event nannies' because they do
a lot more than simply supervise the children. Our nannies are trained to involve the children in organized activities
and know how to engage children who are suffering from separation anxiety. We maintain low ratio's nanny to child to Every
event nanny is carefully screened to ensure the best possible care for the children. They each have a minimum of three to
five years full-time childcare experience, certificates in CPR and First Aid, excellent references and must pass
thorough background checks and drug screens before they join the team. Our nannies are uniformed for easy recognition.

'The Playroom'
Before the children arrive, the space allocated is carefully inspected for safety and set up
as a playroom. We provide toys, games, puzzles, activities, music and crafts all selected with safety in mind. We can also
arrange visits from characters and provide elaborate themed parties if required.
