The Williamsburg Nanny Agency was founded in 2008
and is currently managed by the owner Niki Worrell. Since its inception hundreds of families have hired part-time, full-time
and temporary nannies as a direct result of working with the agency and been highly satisfied with the service they have received.
The agency's approach to finding suitable candidates is specifically aimed at making the best possible match between family
and nanny going above and beyond the usual steps i.e. taking into consideration personality traits and family culture in addition
to screening for the necessary experience and certifications.
We have a large network of nanny candidates looking for part-time and full-time
positions at any one time. Our nannies must meet a strict list of criteria in order to recommend them to you. a minimum of
two to three years childcare experience including one year's experience as a nanny, over the age of 21 (unless you request
younger), a legal US resident and be trained in CPR and First Aid. Excellent references are essential and all candidates must
pass a national background check and local county search, social security verification, sex offenders registry and drug screen.
What makes us stand out from other
agencies is the on-going relationship we have with our clients and nannies. Finding a great nanny is relatively easy compared
to managing and ensuring a long-term healthy working relationship between families and their nannies. Our service includes
free on-going coaching and advice throughout the length of the nanny's employment. We also prepare a detailed work agreement
for both nanny and family to help ensure a log and happy working relationship.
